such, shsll be employed by City, and no person employed hereunder shall have <br />any County pension, civil service, or other status or right in relation to <br />County. <br /> <br /> 2. County shall not be called upon to assume any liability <br />for the direct payment of any salaries, wages, or other compensation to <br />City personnel performing services hereunder for County, or any liability <br />other than that provided for in this agreement. <br /> <br /> 3. County shsll not he liable for the compensation of, or <br />indemnity to, any City employee for injuryor sickmess arising out of his <br />employment. <br /> <br /> 4. Pursuant to Sections 850.6 and 895.4 of the Government Cod% <br />City agrees to indemnify and hold harmless County on a~ount of all claims <br />arising out of the negligence of City in the performance of this contract for <br />sgrvices tempting in injury to persons or property~ insofar as permitted by <br />law. <br /> <br /> V. TEE4 OF AGREEmeNT <br /> <br /> This agreement shall be effective for five (5) years, beginning <br /> July l, 1970 and terminating on June 30, 1975.
