AGREEMENT <br /> <br />FIRE PROTECTiOLr SERVICES <br /> <br />~ .... , 53u.~ty <br /> <br /> ~HIS AGREeing, made and entered into this day of , <br /> <br />19 . ~ by and between the COI~ITY OF ALA~,~DA, hereinafter referred to as <br />"County," and the CI~f OF PLEAS~[TON, hereinafter referred to as "City," <br /> <br /> W I T N E S S E T }{: <br /> <br /> ~.~H]~REAS, County did establish County Service Areas F-!964-1~ F-1965-1, <br />F-1965-2, and F-1965-3, described in Group ~xhibit "A"~ for the provision of <br />structural fire protection; and <br /> <br /> %~REAS, County is desirous of contracting with City for the performance <br />of the hereinafter described fire protection services within the boundaries of <br />the land described in Group Exhibit "A"; and <br /> <br /> %~REAS, City is agreeable to rendering such services on the terms and <br />conditions hereinafter set forth; and <br /> <br /> I.~{EREAS, such contracts are authorized and provided for by the provisions <br />of Chapter 5, Division 7, Title 1, and Chapter 2.2, Division 2, Title 3, of <br />the Govermment Code; <br /> <br /> NOW~Th~REFOP~, IT IS AGREED AS FOLLO?~: <br /> <br /> I. SCOPE <br /> <br /> 1. City to provide fire protection services to the area <br />described in Group Exhibit "A" and made a part of this agreement. <br /> <br /> 2. Said service shall be provided in the s~e manner and on <br />the same level as provided for City residents. <br /> <br /> II. PA~,T~T <br /> <br />1.
