A G R E L M L N T <br /> FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES <br /> l; <br /> THIS ASREEMEUT, made and entered into this J'__ day of <br /> June, 1965, by and between the COUliTY OF ALAMEDA, hereinafter <br /> referred to as "County" , and the CITY OF PLE'ASANTON, hereinafter <br /> referred to as "City", <br /> W I 'i. tl is S E '1 I . <br /> ;JIEREAS the County, by Resolution No. 110367, did establish <br /> County Service Area F-1964-1" , described in Exhibit "A", providing <br /> for structural fire protection services; and <br /> WHEREAS the County is desirous of contracting with the <br /> City for the performance of the hereinafter described fire protec- <br /> tion functions within the boundaries of the land described in <br /> Exhibit "A" ; and <br /> WHEREAS the City is -a reeuble to renderin' such services <br /> on the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth; and <br /> WHEREAS such contracts are authorized and provided for by <br /> the provisions of Chapter 5 , Division 7 , Title 1, and Chapter 2. 2, <br /> Division 2, Title 3 , of the Government Code; <br /> MOW THEREFORE IT IS AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> I . SCOPE <br /> City to provide fire protection services to the area described <br /> in Exhibit "A" and made a part of this ar*reernent. <br /> A. Service provided in the same manner tnd same level <br /> as provided for city residents . <br /> II. PAYMENT <br /> 1. County will pay City for services provided for herein <br /> in two equal payments of $ 225.00 , payable on December 1st and <br /> June 1st of each fiscal year. <br /> 1 <br />
