understood that the above payments arc for <br /> :ar ending on June 30, 1966 and that prior to March <br /> e year, the City will notify the County of the requested <br /> of such payments for the next fiscal year. <br /> a. The above requested payments are subject to <br /> approval of the County and the inclusion of an amount <br /> in the County's preliminary budget. <br /> b. If the amount of the charges cannot be agreed <br /> upon and no funds are included in the County 3udnet for <br /> said fire protection services, the contract is void . <br /> III. GENERAL CONDITIONS <br /> 1. For the purpose of performing said services, the City <br /> shall furnish and supply all necessary labor, supervision, equip- <br /> ment, communication facilities and supplies necessary to maintain <br /> the level of service to bP rendered hereunder. <br /> 2 . The rendition of services to be performed under this <br /> agreement, the etandards of performance, the discipline of officers, <br /> and ether nattere incidental to the performance of such services <br /> and the control of personnel so employed , shall remain in the City. <br /> The determination of the r%re Chief of the City shell be final <br /> and conclusive as i:mtween the parties hereto as to the extent of <br /> the duties and functions to be rendered hereunder, or the level <br /> or manner of performance of such service. <br /> 3 . For the purpose of performing such services and <br /> functions, and for the purpose of giving official status to the <br /> performance thereof, every City officer and employee engaged in <br /> performing any such service and function shall be deemed to be an <br /> officer or an employee of the County while performing services for <br /> the County, which service is within the scope of this agreement. <br /> 2 <br />
