To transfer ownership of all County owned computer, telephone, and other equipment, including the two self checkout machines at the Pleasanton Branch. To implement a plan of action so as to reduce the number of potential layoffs; estimated target: 11 positions. 4. . To negotiate in good faith with the City regarding the terms, conditions, and fees for service contracts covering County provided Automation services, Bookmobile services, and Interlibrary loan services. The CITY agrees: To join the Bay Area Library and Information System (BALLS) thereby assuring residents of reciprocal library services. To work with the County Librarian to plan the schedule for the City's interview and hiring process so as to allow for maximum coordination with any County Library reduction in force process. To interview any current County Library employee who may apply for a position within the Pleasanton City Library.
