To allow any County Library employee hired to carryover and retain their existing sick leave balance within the City personnel system. To allow any County Library employee hired to carryover and retain their existing years of County seniority within the City personnel system. To pay to the County Library, as total compensation for withdrawal from the Countywide Library system and subject to the provisions of#7, a total of $658,380 based on the following: - Projected impact resulting from anticipated staffing reductions $ 95,880 - County owned computer, phone, and other equipment, books, and materials located in the Pleasanton Library Total Payments $ 562,500 $ 658,380 To make a reasonable effort, consistent with City personnel policies and procedures, to achieve a target of 11 current County Library employees for employment with the City. To the extent that the employment target is achieved, the City and the County agree to a proportional reduction in the total compensation paid by the City up to a maximum . 'amount of $90,380. Within ninety (90) days after the effective date of the withdrawal, the City and the County will meet to review the actual employment totals and to address any required reductions to the City's total compensation amount and the annual payment schedule.
