A G R E E M E N T <br /> <br /> THIS AGREg[.iENT, made and entered into this 18th day of <br />February, 1958, by and between the COUNTY OF ALAHEDA, a political <br />subdivision of the State of California, hereinafter referred to <br />as County, and the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a body corporate and <br />politic, hereinafter referred to as CITY. <br /> <br /> W I T N E S S E T H: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Chapter 4 of Division 7 of t~e Government Code of <br />the State of California authorizes and empowers two or more public <br />agencies to jointly exercise by agreement any power common to t~e <br />contracting parties~ and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City will construct certain sanitary sewerage <br />facilities to be jointly used by County and City i-a the vicinity <br />of the City, in Pleasanton To~-;nsbip, Alsmeda County, State of <br />California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, County ~-;i!l construct certain sanitary sewerage <br />facilities in Fairgrounds ow,~_ed by County, to be used jointly by <br />County and City~ in Pleasanton Township, Alameda Cotunty, State <br />of California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said sewerage facilities will serve to adequately <br />sewer Fairgrounds owned by County; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said sewerage facilities are a portion of the <br />City's sewerage plan to adequately sewer areas of City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the installation of these sanitary sewerage'facili- <br />ties by County and City will be of material benefit to both County <br />and City; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, it is <br />mutually agreed by and bet~een t[~e parties hereto as follow,s, to <br />;.;it: <br /> <br /> I <br /> <br />City agrees <br /> <br />to construct or cause to be constructed certain <br /> <br /> <br />
