GENERAL PROVISIONS <br /> <br />SECTION G-1 - DEFINITIONS AND TERMS <br /> The words "PUBLIC AGENCY" mean the legal entity of the City of <br /> Pleasanton which has ordered and adopted these plans and specifica- <br /> tions. <br /> <br />The words "GOVERNING BODY" mean the governing body <br />Pleasanton. <br /> <br />The word "ENGINEER" means the City Engineer. <br /> <br />of the <br /> <br />City of <br /> <br />The word "BIDDER" means the person, firm, co-partnership, corporation <br />or joint venture submitting a proposal for the work herein described. <br /> <br />The word "CONTRACTOR" means the bidder who has entered into a contract <br />with the public agency to perform work herein described.
