1-08 Overtime Work: For any night, weekend or regular union holiday work by <br />~he Contractor done either at his option or as a requirement of the City <br />which required City inspection in the opinion of he Engineer, the <br />Contractor shall pay the City for the necessary overtime. Such pay <br />shall be based on two times the current regular hourly gross pay of the <br />City employee required to work overtime. Gross pay is the base pay plus <br />25% for retirement, insurance, etc. The. Contractor shall notify the <br />City of any proposed overtime at least 24 hours in advance unless the <br />overtime is unexpected or due to emergency repairs made prior to <br />acceptance or within the Contractor's one-year guarantee period. <br /> <br />1-09 Modifications: These specifications may be modified or supplemented by <br /> special provisions placed on the plans approved by the City Engineer. <br /> <br />CDS.1.7 1-4 <br /> <br /> <br />
