SECTION 28 <br />FENCING <br /> <br />28-01 <br /> <br />28-02 <br /> <br />Fencing and Grates shall be Type BW barbed wire fence conforming to the <br />applicable provisions of Section 80 of the Standard Specifications and <br />to Standard Drawing SF 703 of the Alameda County Flood Control and Water <br />Conservation District and the following: <br /> <br />a. Posts and braces shall be Redwood or treated Douglas Fir. <br /> <br />b. Barbed wire shall be twisted with 4 point 14 gauge barbs at 5' <br /> spacing. <br /> <br />c. Gates shall be of the type shown on Standard Drawing SF 701. <br /> Measurement and Pasment. The quantity to be paid for will be the number <br /> of lineal feet of fence acceptably installed, including gates as part of <br /> the fence, as determined by actual measurement. <br /> <br /> Payment will be at the contract unit price per linear foot of fence and <br /> includes payment for furnishing and installing all materials, excava- <br /> tion, connecting to cross fences, and disposal of excess material. <br /> <br />CDS.1.17 28-1 <br /> <br /> <br />
