From: Neil Doshi
To: Natalie Amos; Mlna! Doshi; Sandy Bigman; Neleen Biarnan; Andrew Hughs
Subject: P21 -0132,P21-0133, PUD -142, Ramprasad Srirama, 3707 Trenery Drive
Date: Saturday, November 27, 202112:44:50 PM
Dear Natalie,
My wife Minal and I are the owners of Cameron Circle, and our house is directly behind the
parcel of land purchased by Mr. Srirama.
When we purchased our home in 2014, we were told that Ponderosa wanted to build 60 two-
story homes on the existing Cameron Place land, but the neighbors around the Mohr Estate
area were opposed to this. As you must know, Ponderosa changed their plans to build 28
single story homes.
Given that our home is single story, and the two homes on Trenery that are currently behind us
are also single story homes, we are diametrically opposed to anyone building a two-story
home on that parcel. We have small children, and we enjoy our privacy -- we do not want
anyone to be able to peer into our yard or home. Furthermore, in the Fall and Winter, we have
views of Mt. Diablo, and the construction of a two-story home would obstruct that view.
As my neighbor, Dr. Sandy Bigman noted in his email, we will fight vigorously to preserve
our privacy and to preserve the aesthetics of this neighborhood. We are open to Mr.
Srirama developing two single -story homes on the existing parcel, provided that the setbacks
are similar to what Ponderosa had to follow with our homes.
We believe that a two story home will encroach on our ability to enjoy our home and
community. The precedent for the majority of homes being single story has already been set
and should not be adjusted for Mr. Srirama's plans. We will fight any plans for homes that do
not have setbacks that are at minimum what was mandated for Ponderosa's Cameron Place
development and for any project that diminishes our privacy or impacts our ability to fully
enjoy our home.
We will plan to be at the December 8th meeting where we will vociferously express our
concerns and reservations about this project.
Sincerely,
Neil Doshi
Click here to report this email as spam.
ITEM NO. 6, PUD -144, PUBLIC COMMENTS PAGE 4
