leave their home anytime during a game or practice, they most likely come home to NO
parking anywhere close to their home. I am not talking only about Muirwood, but all the
adjacent streets also.
It seems that the parks & recreation dept have tried to shove this through quickly, with VERY
little notification initially. There has been information circulating about a "conflict of interest "
with this whole matter.
If this was such a huge priority, it should have had a place at Patelco park, in the original
plans. I would think "one" of the baseball fields at Patelco park might be able to be
transformed into a cricket field. This park has many dedicated parking lots, and after all it IS a
"sports park"!
We all know this field if installed at Muirwood would draw people from all over the area. We
also know it will NOT only be used by youth. Please Do Not tell us we then have the option to
call the police, I'm sure they have many other more important matters to attend to.
In closing PLEASE take into consideration, the immediate neighbors of Highland Oaks,
Stoneridge, and others who frequent this wonderful "neighborhood park".
Safety, major traffic congestion, and loss of use of a wonderful family friendly park, should
are taken seriously with this decision.
These special moments of playing in the park, that we have been lucky enough to enjoy
would be taken away!
Click hm to report this email as spam.
As a side note, we have been displaced due to a house fire in 2020. Since then we have been
lucky enough to be in a nice townhouse on Harrison St.
We also Do Not need huge 5 story buildings in a residential neighborhood, like the one
proposed for Harrison & Old Bernal. Seriously what is happening in Pleasanton, not good
choices!
i
anc & G Marks
iA
