The city needs some <br />open space for families and pets! <br />We DO NOT need a cricket pitch at Muirwood park, maybe a better location is the Donlon <br />field across from Val Vista park, with a lot more parking. <br />From what I have heard residents are very much against the building of houses on that lot. <br />Why not extend this field as part of Val Vista park? A parking lot can be put in, and if need be <br />a fence around the field for safety! <br />Muirwood should remain a neighborhood park, NOT turn into a sports park. Please do not tell <br />us that this will not change much if a cricket pitch is added. The freedom of the families to go <br />picnic, walk, fly a kite, kick a ball, practice throwing/hitting for baseball practice, will all be <br />taken away from local residents! <br />Safety! <br />Parking on Muirwood Dr. is already horrible! It can be very dangerous getting kids in and out <br />of cars. If a cricket field is added we all know traffic will increase. <br />Muirwood Dr. Is the only path from Las Positas, other than Foothill Rd. What a nightmare <br />this would be. I live a block away, but the poor residents who live closer deserve better. If they <br />
