I-680 HOV DIRECT ACCESS RAMPS <br /> <br />TVTC PROJECT <br />SPONSOR <br />City of San Ramon <br />LEAD AGENCY <br />CCTA <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION (UPDATED SUMMER 2016) <br />Project B-11a is located along I-680 in San Ramon. The project would construct dedicated HOV on- and <br />off-ramps in the median of I-680, in both the northbound and southbound directions at Norris Canyon <br />Road or at Executive Parkway in San Ramon. The project received a high level of community interest, <br />with a number of local residents voicing strong oppositions about the direct HOV ramps at Norris Canyon. <br />An alternative location for the direct ramps is also being evaluated at Executive Parkway. <br />STATUS <br />March 2016, a letter from the City of San Ramon to CCTA was submitted and stated that the City of San <br />Ramon withdrew support for the project. Subsequently, the CCTA has suspended work on the project. <br />PHASING AND SCHEDULE <br />The project has been removed from the project list and is no longer considered for funding. <br /> <br /> <br />
