I-680 TRANSIT CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENTS <br />TVTC PROJECT SPONSOR <br />City of San Ramon <br />LEAD AGENCY <br />CCTA <br />OTHER INVOLVED PARTIES <br />Caltrans, Southwest Area Transportation <br />(SWAT) Committee, Transportation <br />Partnership and Cooperation (TRANSPAC) <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />(UPDATED SUMMER 2021) <br />Project 11-B is located along I-680 in San <br />Ramon. The project would fund a corridor <br />express lane and operational improvements <br />to facilitate carpools and increase transit use <br />in the corridors as an alternative to single <br />occupant vehicle travel. Funding may also <br />be used to implement high capacity transit <br />improvements along I-680. These <br />improvements may include an express lane, <br />relevant transit projects, advanced traffic <br />management programs, and/or autonomous or connected vehicles. <br />STATUS <br />A Project Study “I-680 Transit Investment Congestion Relief Study” was completed in 2015 with Measure <br />J funds. Specific details for this project will be further developed when additional funding is identified. <br />Project 11b has been incorporated into Project C-10 Innovate 680 and therefore has been removed from <br />the project list and is no longer considered for funding. <br />PHASING AND SCHEDULE <br />The project has been removed from the project list and is no longer considered for funding. <br /> <br />
