Nicole Rodriguez
From: Gary Primeau
Sent: Wednesday, January 25, 2023 3:22 PM
To: Pleasanton City Clerk
Subject: City Council Meeting -Jan. 26th
[You don't often get email from earn why this is important at
https://aka.ms/LearnAboutSenderldentification
> Dear City Council;
> My wife and I are long time residents of Pleasanton, (36 years).We raised our children here.We love Pleasanton.
> It has come to our attention that the council will be voting on a framework for new developments on 18 sites including
a Stoneridge Mall Framework.
>We have read the attachments to the agenda for the City Council Meeting Jan. 26 and it was noted that the developers
proposed approximately 2000 new residential units for the site (58 per acre).
>We live in the area that would be most impacted,the existing residents between Stanridge Dr., Foothill Rd., and Las
Positas Rd.. We are very concerned that such a dramatic increase in residents would destroy the neighborhood.
>The current housing closes to the proposed site has less than 2000 houses.Therefore,you will double the residency
and greatly impact the area negatively.
>The impact will be felt in many ways:
>-Schools-All will be impacted dramatically
>-Traffic will more than double. Foothill,Stoneridge and Las Positas Rd all are congested now
>-Water allocation,will be impacted dramatically
>-Safety issues,we have always had a safe place to live but we fear that would be jeopardize
>We already have major companies building around the area, it seems a wise move by the city to bring in more
Businesses and build on the property in question.
>We have spoken with many neighbors and they are very upset.
>Thanks for Considering our Concerns;
>Gary y Maria Primeau
Click https://www.mailcontrol.com/sr/GBUzHiGm2_rGX2PQPOmvUgdxg59Y6ZacvhEYOt-
teHN88XIWMdhzl7ewGQ0Yu34ZHW3pydBwcRIAXoNDtAu6BA== to report this email as spam.
1
