0030332 Handrails, Rear, (2) Below Hose Bed, <br />One Each Side <br />Two (2) horizontal knurled aluminum handrails will be provided below the hose bed at the rear of <br />the apparatus, one each side. <br />0636301 Compt, Extinguisher (2) Fender <br />Panel, Triangular Door <br />EXTINGUISHER/AIR BOTTLE/ STORAGE (Triangular) <br />A total of one (1) extinguisher/air bottle/storage compartments will be provided RS behind the <br />rear wheels. The triangular shaped compartment will be sized to fit a 8.00" diameter extinguisher <br />in the lower area and a 8.00" diameter extinguisher in the upper area. The compartment will be <br />approximately 25.50" deep. A partition will be provided to separate the compartment. Also inside <br />the compartment, black Dura-Surf friction reducing material will be provided. The compartment <br />will be furnished with a drain hole. A polished stainless steel, triangular shaped door with a <br />chrome plated flush lift & turn latch will be provided to contain the air bottles. A dielectric barrier <br />will be provided between the door hinge, hinge fasteners and the body sheet metal. <br />AIR BOTTLE COMPARTMENT STRAP <br />A strap will be provided in the air bottle compartment(s) to help contain the bottles when the <br />vehicle is parked on an incline. The strap will wrap around the neck and attach to the wall of the <br />compartment. <br />0657651 Compt, Air Bottle, Double, Fender <br />Panel <br />AIR BOTTLE STORAGE (Double) <br />A quantity of three (3) air bottle compartments, 15.25" wide x 7.75" tall x 26.00" deep, will be <br />provided on the left side forward of the rear wheels, on the left side rearward of the rear wheels <br />and on the right side forward of the rear wheels . A polished stainless steel door with a chrome <br />plated flush lift & turn latch will be provided to contain the air bottle. A dielectric barrier will be <br />provided between the door hinge, hinge fasteners and the body sheet metal. <br />Inside the compartment, "W" shaped insert formed of composite materials will be provided. <br />0004225 Ladder, 24' Duo-Safety 900A 2- <br />Section <br />EXTENSION LADDER <br />There will be a 24' two-section aluminum Duo-Safety Series 900-A extension ladder provided. <br />0004230 Ladder, 14' Duo-Safety 775A Roof ROOF LADDER <br />There will be a 14' aluminum Duo-Safety Series 775-A roof ladder provided. <br />0758645 SP Ladders Btwn Tank & S.Sht, RS, <br />Ext'd Rr, Encl'd Complete, RPH, Spcl <br />Mount Vinyl <br />LADDER STORAGE <br />The ladders will be stored between the water tank and the right side compartments. <br />The ladders will extend into the pump compartment just to the rear of the water pump discharges. <br />The ladder storage area will be enclosed as practical by means of sheet metal to protect the <br />ladders from road dirt. The ladders that extend into the pump house will also be enclosed. The <br />pump house portion of the enclosure will be made of vinyl. The vinyl ladder boot that covers the <br />ladders in the pump house will be provided with a metal collar. The vinyl cover will be mounted to <br />the structure off the rear wall of the pump house where the ladders enter the pump house. The <br />cover will be mounted to the structure rear wall of the pump house with bolts allowing the vinyl <br />cover to be removable when needed. The vinyl boot will be held in place by a strap with a side <br />release fastener which will allow the boot to be compressed to be moved out of the way for pump <br />house maintenance. <br />The vinyl portion will be fastened to the pumphouse structure with side release buckles. The vinyl <br />portion will allow the user to move the enclosure aside to access the pump area. <br />Each ladder will be stored vertically in a separate stainless steel storage trough. Each stainless <br />steel trough will be lined with Dura-Surf nylon slides. <br />A bright aluminum treadplate enclosure will be provided at the rear of the body to properly contain <br />the ladders This enclosure will extend to the rear of the side body compartments. <br />The enclosure will also include a vertically hinged smooth aluminum door with a D-handle latch to <br />access the ladders. <br />0733387 Ladder, 10' Duo-Safety Folding 585A <br /> <br />FOLDING LADDER <br />One (1) 10.00' aluminum, Series 585-A, Duo-Safety folding ladder will be installed. <br />0733796 Trough, Folding Ladder, Ladder <br />Storage Btwn Tank & S.Sht <br /> <br />FOLDING LADDER STORAGE <br />There will be storage designated right side for folding ladders stored between the side sheet in a <br />stainless steel trough in the ladder storage compartment. <br />0667094 SP Ladder Storage Door, Springs Added <br />to Door Hinge <br />LADDER STORAGE DOOR SPRINGS <br />Springs will be added to the compartment door to hold the door in the open position. <br />0602877 Pike Pole, Pumper, Provided by Fire <br />Department, NFPA 2016 <br /> <br />PIKE POLE PROVIDED BY FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />NFPA 1901, 2016 edition, Section 5.9.4 requires one (1) 8 ft or longer pike pole mounted in a <br />bracket fastened to the apparatus. <br />The pike pole is not on the apparatus as manufactured.
