RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />APPROVING COMPENSATION FOR TEMPORARY/SEASONAL EMPLOYEES AND <br />AMENDING THE TEMPORARY, PART-TIME/SEASONAL CLASSIFICATION SALARY <br />STRUCTURE <br />WHEREAS, compensation for the City’s temporary employees is set forth in the City’s <br />Temporary, Part-time/Seasonal Classification Salary Structure; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends the City Council authorize the City Manager to increase <br />the minimum wage for each Temporary, Part-time/Seasonal classification to comply with <br />California’s minimum wage increase; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends the City Council authorize the City Manager to amend the <br />temporary classifications as necessary. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br />SECTION 1. Amends the Temporary, Part-time/Seasonal Classification Salary Structure <br />effective January 1, 2024, for temporary employees as provided in Exhibit A. <br />SECTION 2.
