We previously provided a Design Level Geotechnical
Investigation Report dated March 31, 2021. The scope of this investigation, our geotechnical
engineering conclusions regarding the soils and geologic conditions at the site, and our
recommendations are presented below. The site is located as shown on Plate 1, Vicinity Map.

1. PROJECT UNDERSTANDING

The current proposed plan consists of approximately 111 single-family detached residential units
and a recreation center. On the eastern portion of the site there is a group of 22 higher density homes consisting
of attached and detached products. A bioretention pond is proposed along the eastern property
boundary and adjacent to Interstate 680.

2. PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF SERVICES

The purpose of this investigation was to explore and evaluate site soil conditions, geologic hazards,
and to develop geotechnical design and construction recommendations for use in assessment of
the feasibility of the project.

The scope of services for this assessment included the following:

• Review of readily available published geologic maps relating to the site and vicinity,
• Review of the State published Seismic Hazard Maps and Reports,
• Review of the following documents for the proposed development:
BERLOGAR
STEVENS &
ASSOCIATES
