P24-0670, -0671, and -0672, 1803 Santa Rita Road Planning Commission <br />12 of 12 <br />ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT <br />This project is categorically exempt (Section 15301, Class 1, Existing Facilities) from the <br />requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Therefore, no environmental <br />document accompanies this report. <br /> <br />SUMMARY/CONCLUSION <br />Staff has reviewed the subject proposal and believes the subject proposal is consistent with <br />the applicable PUD and City regulations. The building design modifications and proposed <br />signage are appropriate for Valley Plaza Shopping Center. As proposed and conditioned, staff <br />believes the proposed use would be compatible with the surrounding businesses and will not <br />detrimentally affect the surrounding uses.
