<br />December, 2024 Joyful Church Parking Policy <br />Joyful Church Parking Policy <br />Mission Statement: <br />To efficiently manage parking, ensure the safety and convenience of church members, and minimize the <br />impact on neighboring properties while avoiding traffic congestion on Owens Drive. <br /> <br />General Guidelines: <br />1. Speed Limits: Maximum speed limit is 10 mph within church premises and parking areas. <br />2. Follow Traffic Signs: Observe and follow all posted traffic signs and arrows. <br />3. Pedestrian Priority: Yield to pedestrians at all times. Exercise caution, especially in areas where <br />children are present. <br />4. Maintain Clear Pathways: Do not block walkways, ramps, or exits. Keep driveways clear for <br />emergency access. <br />5. Designated Parking Areas: Park only in marked spaces. No parking in fire lanes, driveways, or <br />areas designated for emergency vehicles. <br />6. Handicap Parking: Reserved spaces are for vehicles displaying a handicap permit. <br />7. Respect Reserved Spaces: Do not park in spaces reserved for the elders, families with children, <br />or newcomers without authorization (requires joyful parking permit tag). <br />8. Parking Staffs: Trained parking staffs will be stationed at the entrance and throughout the <br />parking lot to manage the flow of vehicles. <br />9. Respect Parking Staffs: Follow the directions of parking staffs. <br /> <br />Main Parking Lot Guidelines: <br />1. Main Parking Location: Use the main external parking site located at 6601 Owens Dr., <br />Pleasanton CA 94588 (intersection of Owens Dr. and Johnson Dr.) <br />2. Parking Staff Assistance: Follow the directions of parking staff stationed at both the main <br />parking site and church premises. <br />3. Real-Time Updates: Parking staffs will use walkie talkie to communicate in real-time to update <br />on the availability of reserved parking spaces and main parking spaces to manage traffic flow <br />accordingly. <br />4. Guidance to Main Parking Lot: When the reserved lot is full, the parking staffs will direct drivers <br />to the main parking location. <br />5. Shuttle Service: If available, shuttle services will operate between the main parking lot and the <br />church to facilitate convenience for attendees.
