December, 2024 Joyful Church Parking Policy
6. Carpooling Encouraged: To reduce congestion, consider carpooling with fellow church members.

Directing Foot Traffic:
1. Foot Traffic Path: Follow the clearly marked foot traffic path from the main parking site to the
church building.
2. Safety Escorts: Parking staff will be available to escort groups safely along the foot traffic path.
3. Crosswalks and Pedestrian Zones: Use designated crosswalks and pedestrian zones. Exercise
caution and follow parking staff instructions.
4. Children Safety: Ensure children are supervised and hold hands while walking to the church
building.

Children's Drop-Off Guidelines:
1. Drop-Off Zone Location: The designated drop-off zone is located near the main entrance of the
church, clearly marked with signs for easy identification.
2. Drop-Off Times: Drop-off begins 20 minutes before the service starts to allow for a staggered
arrival of vehicles.
3. Safety First: Children should exit the vehicle on the passenger side only, directly onto the
sidewalk. Church staff members will be present to greet and assist the children safely into the
building.
4. Stay in Line: Remain in the drop-off line and do not cut in front of other vehicles. Follow the
guidance of parking staffs.
5. No Parking: Do not park or leave your vehicle unattended in the drop-off zone. If you need to
enter the building, please park in a designated parking space.

*** Measures to Prevent Queuing onto Owens Drive:
1. Traffic Flow Management: Parking staffs will direct vehicles efficiently to prevent any backup
onto Owens Drive.
2. Staggered Arrival Times: Encourage attendees to arrive during staggered intervals to minimize
congestion.
3. Overflow Plan: In case the drop-off zone becomes crowded, an overflow drop-off zone will be
set up, with parking staffs guiding vehicles to this area smoothly.
