The project will be implemented, administered and operated by creating a baseline list of
goals and objectives which will be communicated to the committee responsible for the
newsletter and further to the professional assistants we will contract with. This will also
include tasks and initiatives that will be executed by current PCAC Board members and
community volunteers. It will include co-marketing/collaborating with other Pleasanton
nonprofits to assure that each entities "brand" is properly presented. Administration of the
project will be facilitated by our Board and member volunteers as well as help from any
collaborating entities. We expect the research, development and publication of the first
issued newsletter will take 3-6 months.
Identify the organization(s) that your agency will partner with on this project. (A
Collaboration Agency Form is required for each collaborating agency.) Enter N/A if not
applicable.
For this project there will not be a "formal" collaboration, but the intent is that it will be an
ongoing collaborative, as we will be continuously requesting and receiving information from
any community arts groups who are interested in having PCAC include their notifications
within the structure of our newsletter. Organization may include: Museum on Main,
Pleasanton Community Concert Band, Pleasanton Art League, City of Pleasanton's Cultural
Events, Quest Innovation Fair, an PUSD student arts and culture events. PCAC already
supports these groups with marketing and involvement.
Please choose a common indicator that your agency will use to measure participation.
Audience (performance)
Spectators (event)
Participants
Clients
Estimate the total number of unduplicated Pleasanton residents to be served by this
project.
We hope to touch every household in Pleasanton. If we base our estimate on how many
residents actually receive and read through our newsletters or components thereof that are
disseminated elsewhere, we can conservatively estimate 20,000 individuals. We could
assume that 50% of those people would tke it as a "call to action" by attending or otherwise
being involved in an activity.
In reference to question number 4, please note that our unduplicated residents include
participants, audience, and spectators.
Describe the specific population your agency anticipates serving with these funds and
how they will benefit from the implementation of this project. (e.g. low income, youth,
disabled, etc.)
The population we anticipate serving is any resident of Pleasanton and surrounding
communities. Since the majority of our programs are provided at zero cost, we open
opportunities for all citizens regardless of income. In addition, we execute programs,
Page 110 of 116
