This is a free event and the
public may travel to many of the different venues so it's difficult to know how many are non-
duplicated participants. However, we will ask for the public to sign up at each venue, to
receive more information about this and future events and the overall organization when
they attend. We will monitor the number of people who come to the website and specifically
to the information page for the event. We will be able to track the growth of the event over
the last few years based on an estimate of the number of people who visiting the website
and who are showing up, as many of the participating artists have been working with the
event for the last several years. We'll have a good sense as to whether the event is
receiving an increase in the number of public attendees.
Please include any additional comments or clarifications here about your grant that you
feel the Commission will benefit from:
Report 1
We are excited to have this event for the fourth year and we hope to have more activities
for the public to actively engage in, to include: more talks and demonstrations at each
venue as well as the public participating in completing works of art that have been started
by local artists, allowing the public to obtain a sense of the active creative process and to
engage with their own curiosity. We hope we can persuade more of the public to take an
active role in the local art organizations.
