of Work.

It’s often cheaper for the consultant to purchase additional umbrella coverage than to get a
whole new auto policy. If they get umbrella coverage in the amount of $1M, that could make up
the difference in auto-liability coverage and I would approve that. Or they can get a larger auto
policy in the amount of $2M. Either way, so long as they get to $2M, I’d be okay with
proceeding.

If there is reason outside of the four corners of the contract, i.e. if AimTD are the only game in
town or something like that, let me know – as we may have to make the business decision to
accept the risk of the lower coverage amount. This wouldn’t be the preferred path forward for
the obvious reasons, so we should gently point out to AimTD that:
1) our contract asks for $2M,
2) they only provided evidence of $1M, and
3) if they can’t produce a COI and endorsement for $2M auto liability coverage, we’re
open to them getting some sort of umbrella policy to make up the difference.

Thanks – feel free to give me a buzz if there you’d like to chat further. x5019
-Wes

From: Mark Candland <MCandland@cityofpleasantonca.gov>
Sent: Thursday, February 20, 2025 2:59 PM
To: Wes Cheung <wcheung@cityofpleasantonca.gov>
Subject: AimTD LLC

Wes,

Here is the contract and the COI that AimTD has submitted.
