There's complexity in determining tradeoffs and
redirecting funds. While there is no perfect solution, there's a
commitment we have to future generations of our beautiful city of
Pleasanton.
Requesting Pleasanton city board and officials to maintain existing
funding for the Pleasanton library and not subject the institution to
budget cuts.
The return on investment the library provides extends generations
and the benefit to the city and possibly at a state and national level.
Seeing my child interact with staff members gave me hope that we
have strength in the community at the epicenter of knowledge,
wisdom, dreams, and a brighter future. Board members have an
additional opportunity to level a foundational legacy by providing
100% support and leadership to maintaining the ethos of the
Pleasanton Public Library.
If you are not opposed to succeeding in establishing a stronger
future for our children and library staff members, I encourage the
board members to discover a way and maintain the status quo
funding for the Pleasanton library.
Thank you for your consideration and openess.
Suraj
