The upcoming budget cuts could mean the end of my <br />time with the city. I am currently a library page at the library, but I <br />spent 24 years at Gingerbread Preschool as a teacher. With the <br />library hours and days being reduced, my job is on the line. Since <br />am one of the lowest paid, lowest hours at the library, I do not <br />understand how eliminating part-time temporary employees solves <br />any budget problems since we are hourly workers with no benefits. I <br />am a senior citizen that enjoys her job and would like to continue to <br />work and be an active member of the community. Please reconsider <br />the benefits that the library has for the citizens of Pleasanton and for <br />one loyal "temporary" employee. <br />
