City of Pleasanton—Villages at the Quarry Project
15183 Consistency Checklist Consistency Checklist

155
flows. In addition, the uptake of water from trees through transpiration would
reduce the amount of runoff from the project site. The landscaping design
would be required to meet State standards for water efficiency.
Adherence to the Preliminary Stormwater Control Plan would address the
proposed project’s potential impacts to groundwater and surface water
quality. Further, adherence to the Preliminary Stormwater Control Plan would
ensure the proposed project’s compliance with the Alternative Groundwater
Sustainability Plan (GSP) for the Livermore Valley Groundwater Basin and the
Water Quality Control Plan (Basin Plan) for the San Francisco Bay Basin.
Additionally, as discussed above, the proposed project must comply with
NPDES permit requirements, adhere to the Municipal Code, and implement
General Plan goals, policies, and actions which would ensure that impacts
related to groundwater and water quality degradation from construction
activities are less than significant.
Therefore, there are no environmental effects that are peculiar to the
proposed project. The proposed project would not result in a new or more
severe adverse impact that was not previously identified in the Housing
Element Update FEIR.
Conclusion
With regard to Hydrology and Water Quality, the Consistency Checklist
demonstrates that:
1. No peculiar impacts related to the proposed project or its site have
been identified.
2. There are no potentially significant off-site and/or cumulative impacts
which were not discussed by the Housing Element Update FEIR.
3. No substantial new information has been identified which results in an
impact which is more severe than anticipated by the Housing Element
Update FEIR.
4. No mitigation measures would be required because the proposed
project’s specific impacts would be less than significant.

Mitigation Measures
None.
