Four short-term noise measurements (15 minutes each) were taken on Thursday, April 25, 2024. The short-term noise measurements were taken between approximately 1:40 p.m. and 3:10 p.m. The noise measurement data sheets are provided in Appendix H of this report. The short-term noise measurements taken at the project site are summarized in Table 6 below. The noise measurements indicate that daytime ambient noise levels range from 62.7 A-weighted decibels (dBA) to 71.1 dBA equivalent noise/sound level (Leq) in the project vicinity. The noise technician observed that the dominant noise source in the project vicinity is traffic noise from Valley Avenue, Boulder Street, Busch Road, Ironwood Drive, 3786 Valley Avenue warehouse operations, and distant train activity.
