<br /> <br /> <br />In February 2025, Zone 7 began an open recruitment effort to procure a consultant who would work <br />with Zone 7 and the retailers to develop the 2025 Demand Assessment, as well as specifically develop <br />the 2025 UWMP for Zone 7. Two consultant proposals were submitted, one from EKI and the other <br />from Black Water Consulting. <br /> <br />Zone 7 and the retailers next convened to review and rank the proposals and hold interviews. The review <br />team unanimously chose EKI as the preferred consultant. Zone 7 entered into contract negotiations with <br />EKI and finalized an agreement in April 2025. <br /> <br />Pleasanton contacted EKI directly to see if they had interest in providing 2025 UWMP development <br />services. Affirming their interest, Pleasanton staff interviewed EKI and decided to move forward with <br />contract negotiations with EKI. <br /> <br /> <br />Financial Impact: <br />The Funding for these services will be paid out of the Water Enterprise Fund (420), with our Operations <br />and Maintenance program under Org 42040602 and Object 430101 – Professional Services. <br />Docusign Envelope ID: C661CF75-4987-4828-A8C7-DB4BC31D3C52
