The following individuals provided comment: <br />Elizabeth Freitas, Mary Brito, Brian Arkin, Paresh Hule, Valerie Arkin, Dimitry <br />Novokhatskly, Geoff Petersen. <br />Mayor Balch closed the public comment. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS <br />23.Adopt a resolution adopting the Two-Year Operating and Capital Budget for Fiscal <br />Years 2025/26 and 2026/27 and approving the Five-Year Capital Improvement Program <br />for Fiscal Years 2025/26 through 2029/30 <br />Presentation by Susan Hsieh, Finance Director. <br />Recommendation: Adopt Resolution No. 2025-035 to: <br />•Adopt the two-year Operating and Capital Budget for Fiscal Years 2025/26 and <br />2026/27; and <br />•Approve the five-year CIP for Fiscal Years 2025/26 through 2029/30. <br />Mayor Balch opened public comment. The following individuals provided comment: <br />Justin Smith, Samir Rajguru, Shiroy Choksey, Mojgan Parwes, Zinaya Choksey, Teri <br />Yan, Jim Lehrman, Christopher Ota, T.J. McGrath, Lisa Harlow, Diane Rodriguez, <br />Samaira Jain, Vicki LaBarge, Sudhir Kulkarni, and Doug Miller. <br />Mayor Balch closed the public comment. <br />Mayor Balch called a recess at 8:40 p.m. and reconvened at 8:50 p.m. <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Gaidos/Eicher to adopt the two-year Operating and Capital <br />Budget for Fiscal Years 2025/26 and 2026/27.
