Changes in labor or equipment costs <br />shall not exceed the change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) since the immediately preceding <br />amendment to such rates. The CPI to be used in rate adjustments shall be the all Urban Consumers <br />(1982-84=100) for the San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose, California area as published by the United <br />States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics. The Contractor and the City's Community <br />Development Director, may by mutual agreement, amend Section 13 Bid Items and Additional Bid <br />items; provided, however, no more than one amendment may be made in each schedule in any <br />calendar year.
