URBAN FOREST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES U <br />1.1 Introduction <br />While the Urban Forest Master Plan (UFMP) covers <br />the key analyses on the current state of Pleasanton's <br />urban forest, as well as the strategies and <br />implementation steps for reaching the City's urban <br />forest goals, the Technical Assessment provides <br />a detailed account of Pleasanton's urban forestry <br />program. The Technical Assessment addresses all <br />facets of urban forestry in the City ranging from <br />the administrative (budgeting, staffing, and policy) <br />to field practices (nursery stock selection, tree <br />establishment, infrastructure conflicts, pruning, and <br />removals). Appendices related to tree management <br />considerations are also included at the end of <br />this document.
