SITE INVESTIGATIONS AND SURVEYS
Task 2.4. Right of Way Exhibits
The project does not require permanent right of way acquisitions as the improvements are within the existing public right of way and public service easements (PSE's) encompassing existing driveways, sidewalks and utilities along W. Las Positas Boulevard. The City will obtain Permits to Enter and Construct (PTE&C’s) for the project work within PSE's, including reconstruction of sidewalks, grading changes adjacent to the intersections, and at conforms to reconstructed driveway approaches. Mark Thomas is coordinating right-of-way activities with the City for the Project to obtain a Right of Way Certification from Caltrans. It is assumed the City will lead the outreach, development, and execution of PTE&C Agreements with each property owner. To support the City's efforts, Mark Thomas will prepare Right of Way Exhibits showing the locations of work for the PTE&C's . Right of way information will be shown based on the project's base mapping using the City's GIS right of way information. No boundary work or surveys will be provided under this task and areas for the PTE&C's will be approximate only. This scope of work assumes up to 26 Right of Way Exhibits will be provided with aerial backgrounds showing the limits of the PTE&C’s and providing a description of the work on each parcel. One round of revisions for these Right of Way Exhibits is included in this scope. Acquisition of Preliminary Title Reports for the impacted properties is not anticipated or included in this scope of work.
Task 2.5. Utility Coordination
As part of this scope of services, Mark Thomas has provided additional coordination for relocation of utilities including preparation of a revised Utility Composite Map following the 95% submittal and updated Conflict Exhibits for each utility to reflect changes to the design to eliminate conflicts with underground utilities.
