Box 520 Pleasanton, CA 94566-0802 LEASE AGREEMENT THIS LEASE AGREEMENT, made this 3rd day of January 2006, by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation of the State of California (hereinafter referred to as "City"), and the AMADOR-LIVERMORE HISTORICAL SOCIETY (hereinafter referred to as "Lessee"). RECITALS A. Lessee is a nonprofit organization organized to provide services throughout the Livermore-Amador Valley. Services include operating the Museum on Main Street for the purpose of representing the history of the Livermore-Amador Valley and the State of California including but not limited to historical displays, historical tours, educational classes and discussions, presentations, historical research, storing of historical items such as furnishings, documents , photos , works of art, equipment, etc. B. C ity owns the property commonly known as 603 Main Street, Pleasanton, California and more specifically described in Exhibit A and depicted in Exhibit B (hereinafter referred to as "Property"). C. Lessee is and has been a tenant of City leasing the Property and operating the Museum on Main Street located on the Property (hereinafter referred to a,;; "Facility"). D. City desires to continue to lease the Property to lessee for the purpose of providing the services listed above and Lessee desires to continue leasing the Property to provide these services. IN CONSIDERATION of mutual covenants contained herein, the parties agree as follows: 1. Subject of Lease. City leases to Lessee its Property including the Facility, commonly known as the Museum on Main Street, (for the purposes contained herein. 2. Term.
