City of Pleasanton, CA (0012108.00) 3-8 Woodard & Curran, Inc.
Pleasanton Long-Term Sewer CIP October 6, 2025
Recommendations TM or pipes inspected in the near-term as part of the priority A
recommendations.
• Sewer Siphon Replacement and Large Diameter Trunk Rehabilitation – This line item includes
funding for possible rehabilitation or replacement of sewer siphon replacement or trunk sewers
based on the findings of the inspections included in priority A. These costs will not be sufficient to
rehabilitate or replace multiple siphons and/or trunk sewers, and it is recommended that this line
item be revised following the results of the inspections and desktop analyses.
3.5 Priority C Projects
Priority C projects include additional rehabilitation and replacement recommendations for pipes in poor
condition that have not yet been CCTV’d. Pipes will be selected based on their inspected condition as
identified as part of future condition assessment effort. These projects are more programmatic in nature
and represent the required investment to maintain the sewer network. Also included in this priority is the
reinspection of sewer siphons, trunk sewers, and gravity mains and follow up condition assessment work. It
is critical that the City continues to identify assets in poor condition as the system ages and react proactively
to maintain a high level of service to the public.
