Planning Commission <br />6 of 14 <br />Construction Phasing <br />The proposed project includes a construction schedule that anticipates the work to be <br />completed in approximately 4 1/2 years. The preliminary phasing includes make-ready work <br />(e.g., rerouting of existing underground utilities, reconfiguring the existing campus loop, <br />constructing a temporary ambulance canopy, etc.), demolition, construction of the new East <br />Wing addition, and renovation of the existing Emergency Department. <br /> <br />To maintain ambulance operational services intact during the make-ready work, a temporary <br />ambulance parking location with a canopy is included. Located south of the existing Central <br />Utility Plant, the proposed location of the temporary ambulance bay is in the same vicinity as <br />the existing bay.
