City of Pleasanton Capital Improvement Program • FY 2025/26 - FY 2029/30 44 <br />Traffic signals are essential for controlling vehicular, <br />bicycle, and pedestrian movements. They assign <br />the right-of-way to various traffic flows, influence <br />traffic movement, and help reduce the frequency <br />and severity of certain types of crashes, particularly <br />right-angle collisions. <br />Bi-Annual Traffic Signal Installations <br />Project Number: FY532 <br />Transportation <br />This biannual project will install traffic signals at <br />high-priority locations identified in the Traffic Signal <br />Priority List.
