The overall parking occupancy at
the station is about 55 percent. On the Dublin side of the station, the fee spaces on the lower five
levels of the BART garage are at or near capacity, while the surface lots closer to the station
entrance (Lots F and H) and the reserved spaces in the garage have medium occupancy, and the
parking lot furthest from the station entrance (Lot E) and the top two levels of the BART garage
are mostly empty.
On the Pleasanton side, about 51 percent of the parking spaces are occupied on a typical
weekday. The lots closest to the station entrance (Lots B and C) are at or near capacity, the
easternmost lot (Lot A) is about half full, while the westernmost lot (Lot D) is mostly empty. Note
that there are about 760 unoccupied spaces on the Dublin side, which can accommodate the
approximately 690 vehicles that currently park on the Pleasanton side.
According to 2024 StreetLight Data (a big data vendor of anonymous location records from GPS
devices), approximately 55 percent of vehicles using the parking lot on the Pleasanton side of the
station arrived via I-580 from the east, 35 percent from Pleasanton or areas to the south
(corresponding to about 240 vehicles), and 10 percent originate from Dublin or areas to the
north.
DRA
F
T
