9
• Regulatory Floodway. The project site is not located within a regulatory floodway. The closest
FEMA-designated regulatory floodway, Arroyo Valle Creek, is located approximately 0.34 miles
south of the project site.7
• Earthquake fault zones. The project site is not located within a state-delineated earthquake fault
zone.8 The closest State-delineated earthquake fault zones are the Verona fault, approximately 1.9
miles south of the project site and Calavera fault, approximately 2.2 miles west of the project site.9
• High fire hazard severity zones. The project site is not located within a California Department of
Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE)-designated Fire Hazard Severity Zone (FHSZ). The
closest FHSZ is a Moderate FHSZ within a Local Responsibility Area (LRA), which is located
approximately 1 mile east of the project site across intervening development.10

6. Use Restrictions
The proposed project does not include demolition of listed historic structures. Results from the
Northwest Information Center (NWIC) indicate that no historic resources have been recorded within the
project site or the 0.25-mile search radius. The cultural resources survey identified one commercial
building over 45 years in age (built in 1973) within the project boundaries. The building was evaluated and
recorded on the appropriate California Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) forms and failed to
meet any of the criteria for historic and/or architectural significance required for listing on the California
Register of Historic Resources (CRHR).
Accordingly, the proposed project does not involve the demolition of any structures that are listed on a
local, state, or federal register of historic resources. Prior to submittal of the preliminary application, no
buildings or features on the project site were identified as historic under the CRHR, the National Register
of Historic Places, or any local historic inventory maintained by the City of Pleasanton. As such, the
proposed project complies with the statutory requirement under Public Resources Code Section
21080.66(a)(7) that prohibits CEQA exemption eligibility for projects that would demolish a historic
structure.
The proposed project does not include transient lodging. The proposed project would not include any
restricted use as listed in PRC Section 21080.66(a)(8). The proposed project would involve the demolition
of a non-listed former AT&T office building and would provide at least 59 and up to 66 townhome-style

7 Federal Emergency Management Area (FEMA). 2025.
