This adjustment also
reduces the total number of pages printed annually and lowers the overall not-to-exceed
amount under the printing agreement.

The City will continue to publish the Progress Newsletter in the upcoming year.

Folger Graphics has provided excellent service to the City of Pleasanton and has
demonstrated a high level of professionalism and quality of work.

EQUITY AND SUSTAINABILITY
The proposed agreement supports equity by providing the Activities Guide and City Newsletter
in both print and digital formats, ensuring broad access for residents. Sustainability is
supported by combining the Spring and Summer Activities Guides into a single publication,
reducing paper use and printing impacts.

OUTREACH
As a matter of routine business, no outreach was associated with this item.

STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT
By reducing printing costs for the Activities Guide, this Amendment advances the ONE
Pleasanton Goal A - Funding our Future to support financial health and sound fiscal policies
through long-term planning, cost recovery, and cost containment.

FISCAL IMPACT
Funding for this contract is included in the Library and Recreation Department budget
(00150100 435135) and in the City Manager’s Office’s Communication Division budget
(00132400 435135). The not-to-exceed amount is $31,790 for the Library and Recreation, and
$19,735 for the City Manager’s Office, for a total of $51,525, with the total not-to-exceed
amount of $411,829 for five years (Attachment 1).

Prepared by: Submitted by: Approved by:
Ania Pawlak

Ania Pawlak, Management
Analyst
Heidi Murphy, Director of Library and
Recreation

Gerry Beaudin, City
Manager

Attachments:
1.
