The ADA Self Evaluation and
Transition Plan project, CIP No. 16437, is a direct implementing action that supports City
compliance and provides a structured, Citywide approach to identifying and correcting
accessibility barriers.

FISCAL IMPACT
This project is funded through the ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan (ASETP) Project
(CIP No. 16437) in Fund 201 (Miscellaneous CIP – General Fund). The total programmed
amount in the adopted Capital Improvement Program is $1,000,000. The proposed
Professional Services Agreement totals $435,276, including a 10 percent optional services
allowance to address necessary but currently unidentified scope items. Overall implementation
costs are lower than anticipated due to reduced consultant effort, as the consultant can
leverage data collected through the City’s Asset Management Program and advances in data-
collection technology, thereby reducing anticipated field time. Upon completion of the project,
any unspent funds will be returned to Fund 201 and remain available for future eligible
projects.

Prepared by: Submitted by: Approved by:

Adam Nelkie, Assistant Dir.
of Public Works -
Engineering
Siew-Chin Yeong, Director of Public
Works

Gerry Beaudin, City
Manager

Attachments:
1.
