Contractorswouldimmediately(i.e.,thesameday)process(i.e.,removecompletelyfromthe <br />treatmentarea,chip,permanentlyplacewithinthetreatmentareaforsoilstabilizaƟon)allcut <br />materialsastheyareproducedtoavoidaƩracƟngAlamedawhipsnaketothevegetaƟonpiles <br />unlessotherwiseprovidedinTable 2;ifprocessingwithinthesamedayisnotfeasible,the <br />qualiĮedbiologistwouldadvisecrewsonasuitablelocaƟonfortemporarystorageofcutmaterials <br />thatcannotbeprocessedimmediately,orthematerialswouldbedeconstructedandinvesƟgated <br />priortoprocessingundertheadvisoryofthequaliĮedbiologist,andchippedmaterialswouldnot <br />bespreadonsuitablerefugiaforAlamedawhipsnake,suchasrodentburrowsorrockyoutcrops. <br />AfulllistofbiologicalresourceavoidancemeasurescanbefoundintheAugusƟnBernalCommunityPark <br />FuelReducƟonPSA/Addendum,whichisavailableuponrequestandwillbepublishedpriortostartof <br />project. <br />ArchaeologicalResources <br />IfevidenceofarchaeologicalorculturalresourcesisdiscoveredduringprojectoperaƟons,alloperaƟons <br />willceaseinthevicinityofthepotenƟalresource,a100Ͳfootbuīerwillbeimplemented,andthearea <br />shallbeavoided.TheCityofPleasanton,itssuperviseddesignee,oranarchaeologistmustbenoƟĮed <br />immediately.TheCityofPleasanton,itssuperviseddesignee,oranarchaeologistmayincreaseordecrease <br />thebuīerasdeemedappropriate. <br />ForestPathogens <br />Phytophthora ramorum,thepathogencommonlyreferredtoasSuddenOakDeath,infectscoastalforests  <br />throughoutCaliforniaandOregonandkillssuscepƟblespecies,includingtanoak,coastliveoak,California <br />blackoak,Shreve’soak,canyonliveoak,andmadronesaplings.HostspeciesthatareintheProjectarea <br />include,butarenotlimitedto,Californiabaylaurel,coastredwood,bigͲleafmaple,andDouglasͲĮr.To  <br />avoidthespreadofthispathogen: <br />1. Allhandequipment,includingboots,willbesaniƟzed,andheavyequipmenthosedoī,priorto <br />andfollowingoperaƟonsinareaswherethespreadofforestdiseasesispossible. <br />2. EachƟmeequipmentorvehiclesleaveorarriveatthesite,theequipmentorvehiclesshouldbe <br />inspectedbyoperaƟonspersonnelforsoilandhostplantdebris(e.g.,leaves,twigs,andbranches). <br />Soilandhostplantdebrisshouldberemovedfromequipmentandvehiclespriortotheirarrival <br />ordeparture.ThisappliestoallequipmentandvehiclesassociatedwiththeoperaƟon,including <br />heavyequipment,equipmenttransporttrucksandtrailers,pickͲuptrucks,employees’personal <br />vehicles,etc. <br />3.
