City of Pleasanton <br />Sewer Rates & Connection Fees Technical Memo <br /> <br />Water Resources Economics <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />SEWER RATE SURVEY <br /> <br />A sewer rate survey was conducted to compare Pleasanton’s rates to those of peer agencies in the Tri-Valley area <br />for Single Family residences, Commercial Full Service Restaurants, and Institutional Schools Submetered <br />customers. These comparisons provide context for evaluating the City’s sewer rates both before and after <br />implementation of the proposed increases. The analysis indicates that, following implementation of the proposed <br />rates, Pleasanton’s combined sewer bills are expected to remain within the range of peer agencies in the Tri-Valley <br />area. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Page 360 of 617
