Sequoia understands that the East Bay Hills are
considered to be one of the highest fire risk areas in California, with the potential for devastation
exacerbated by their proximity to the wildland-urban interface. The City provides a proactive approach to
reduce the risk of fire within Alameda County and mitigate the impacts resulting from wildfires by reducing
fuels in the project area through use of the California Vegetation Treatment Program (CalVTP) PSA.
Sequoia previously submitted a scope and cost estimate for a PSA and addendum to support the City’s
CalVTP project. Subsequently, Sequoia was asked for a quote to perform additional services to support the
Project. To accomplish this, Sequoia proposes the following scope of work:
• Task 5: Implementation Services and Support
o 5.1: Project Management and Coordination
o 5.2: Biological Field Services
o 5.3: GIS Support
o 5.4: Completion Report
• Task 6 : Public Outreach Support (Optional)
o Task 6.1 : Public GIS/StoryMap Setup and Maintenance
o Task 6.2 : Virtual Meeting/Townhall Attendance
o Task 6.3 : On-Site Meeting Attendance
Exhibit A
Docusign Envelope ID: 65E68384-8713-47A2-B179-B794D1BE0CB0Docusign Envelope ID: 266F3365-7BEF-87AC-8198-E2103A9F8B36
