Scope of Work and Cost Estimate
PSA Implementation Services and Support | City of Pleasanton Augustin Bernal Community Park Fuels Project
March 2026
2

SCOPE OF WORK
Task 5: Implementation Services and Support
5.1 Project Management and Coordination
Sequoia will provide project management and coordination to ensure timely and efficient work activities,
guidance, and deliverables are provided to the City. Sequoia’s project managers will oversee and
coordinate the project and project team, though direct communication with the project team is
encouraged to expedite delivery of sensitive information and materials. The project management team
will maintain strict data management procedures and quality control measures to ensure that data are
collected, compiled, reported, and archived properly. Finally, the project managers will be responsible for
ensuring the project tasks do not exceed the budget and for the timely submittal of invoices. The project
managers will track work in real time using our project management software to maintain project controls
and ensure we are on track to meet project goals. This task also includes coordination efforts, such as
communications and meetings, scheduling field work, or other miscellaneous tasks requiring senior
biological review.
Deliverables
• Weekly email updates on project status, acres completed, and upcoming activities
Assumptions
• Five (5) virtual one (1)-hour meetings are included
5.2 Biological Field Services
Sequoia anticipates that half-day and spot-check biological monitoring will be sufficient for this project.
Although the Project is situated in Critical Habitat for Alameda whipsnake, treatment design mitigated
potential impacts to the species by avoiding ground disturbance and habitat type conversion. Under this
task, Sequoia anticipates providing half days of biological field services support, including but not limited
to biological pre-activity surveys and sweeps, environmental trainings, biological monitoring for special-
status species and PSA compliance, and post-treatment surveys. Biologists will collect sensitive resource
and post-treatment survey data in Esri’s Survey123 and Field Maps mobile applications while in the field.
Deliverables
• Daily Monitoring Report form, which will reflect all monitoring, survey, and environmental training
activities performed on-site
Docusign Envelope ID: 65E68384-8713-47A2-B179-B794D1BE0CB0Docusign Envelope ID: 266F3365-7BEF-87AC-8198-E2103A9F8B36
