Upon completion of <br />construction, staff provided Caltrans with the required closeout documentation. <br /> <br />In addition to construction costs, the project included expenditures for consultant contracts and <br />related services, as detailed in Attachment 2. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br />All work has been completed in accordance with the approved plans and special provisions <br />and is ready for final acceptance by the City Council. Acceptance of the improvements will add <br />to the City’s infrastructure inventory for ongoing maintenance. <br /> <br />The road surfacing method used for each street was based on the condition of the existing <br />pavement. The road segments, pavement area in square feet, and treatment methods used <br />are documented in the table below using the abbreviations listed. <br />1. Hot-mix asphalt overlay (OL) <br />2.
