LifeLock PAS Devices
The Pleasanton Police Department is requesting Other Direct Costs for operational components associated with
eight (8) LifeLock Preliminary Alcohol Screening (PAS) devices to support the one (1) CTFGP-funded DUI
Checkpoint and scheduled DUI saturation patrols throughout the year. This includes supporting software (1 unit at
$195.00), testing and calibration services (8 units totaling $1,644.00), and miscellaneous parts ($184.80), for a
subtotal of $7,191.80. With applicable tax ($737.15), shipping ($75.54), and a 20% contingency ($1,453.47), the
total requested amount is $9,457.96. These costs are directly related and necessary to ensure the PAS devices are
properly calibrated, fully operational, and capable of tracking usage data for quarterly reporting. All items will be
purchased and received at the beginning of the project performance period to ensure they are available for the
December 2026 DUI checkpoint activity identified in the performance measures.
Pleasanton Police Department
Pleasanton Police Department
Attachment 1
