believe the City of Pleasanton strongly encourages the
preservation of historic structures/houses built before 1942.

VTY,

Ted Vinson

On Wed, Apr 22, 2026 at 10:52 AM Natalie Amos <namos@cityofpleasantonca.gov> wrote:
Dear Mr. Vinson,

Thank you for your email and the time you spent reviewing the D/FEIR materials for the Hidden
Canyon Residences and Preserve project.

The phrase “Therefore, no further response is required” does not mean comments were disregarded
or excluded from consideration. Under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), comments
are evaluated on environmental issues and provide a written response describing the disposition of
each significant environmental issue raised. Comments that do not raise a new significant
environmental issue, or that repeat points already addressed elsewhere in the DEIR or master
responses, may be answered by reference to that earlier response rather than making additional
changes to the EIR.

In the FEIR, your written comment letter was addressed through a series of responses identified as
T.VINSON 1-1 through 1-16, and your verbal comments at the December 10, 2025, meeting were also
addressed in Response to T.VINSON 2. I appreciate your note about the City’s website files. If the
PDF did not open correctly and the file formatting was difficult to follow, I’m happy to provide you with
hardcopies of the FEIR and FoF documents. You’re welcome to pick them up before 1:00 p.m. today,
or, if that’s not ideal for your schedule and you’re attending the hearing this evening, I will have the
documents set aside for you on the back table of the City Council chambers.

Regarding your question about the Planning Commission’s review of comments, the Commissioners
were provided the FEIR and Findings of Fact (FoF) documents with their April 22, 2026, agenda
packet. Before the Planning Commission renders a recommendation to City Council on the project,
the Commission must review and consider the information contained in the environmental documents.

Thank you, again, for reaching out.

Kindest regards,
Natalie

Natalie Amos, AGBP
Associate Planner, Community & Economic Development Department
D: 925-931-5613
O: 925-931-5600
namos@cityofpleasantonca.gov

City of Pleasanton | P.O.
