P25-0116. P25-0116, P25-0018, PUD-154 and Tract 8123 (Arroyo Lago) Planning Commission
18 of 22
Figure 6 : Off-Site Stormwater Retention Facility

Landscaping and Park (Figure 7)
Landscaping within the project site would include street trees except for the eastern side of
Street C, which would have a monolithic sidewalk and planting in the park. Trees would also
be installed along the north side of the project site boundary along Lake I, along the front yards
of the proposed homes, along the Busch Road frontage, and within the Busch Road median.
Proposed trees would include the crape myrtle, Chinese pistache, native oak, Indian hawthorn,
little leaf linden, and Chinese elm species.
The approximately 0.7-acre park would be owned and maintained by the HOA, with an
easement to allow for public access. The park would be landscaped with various drought-
resistant grasses and shrubs, both native and non-native, consistent with the Model Water
Efficient Landscape Ordinance (MWELO). Paving across the park, streets, and other
landscaped areas would consist of concrete and decomposed granite, with accent paving used
to demarcate crossings. Ornamental fencing would be used to separate residences and public
spaces. Other amenities, such as benches, tables, and chairs, would be installed in the park.
All Project landscaping would meet applicable standards and other requirements, including the
City’s Standard Specifications and Details.

Pr
o
j
e
c
t

S
i
t
e

Detention Facility
